Invisalign® Clear Aligners
in Strathfield

For a Straighter, More Confident Smile

If you feel self‑conscious about crowded or crooked teeth but don’t like the idea of metal braces, Invisalign clear aligners could be a great fit. Dr. Mathew Elias uses digital planning to straighten teeth with thin, almost invisible trays that you can remove to eat and brush.

Treatment is usually quicker and more comfortable than traditional braces, and you can see a simulation of your likely result before you start. At Smile ConfiDENTAL, your first Invisalign Clear Aligners consultation is free, so you can get clear advice with no pressure.

If you go ahead, you’ll also receive a free take‑home whitening kit and one set of retainers at the end of treatment (together valued at around $1,000).

What to Expect From Your Invisalign Treatment

Your visit starts with records: digital X‑rays, a 3D scan of your teeth using an intraoral scanner (no messy impressions), and photos of your smile. A few days later, you come back to review a custom plan; Dr. Elias will show you how your teeth are expected to move and what your end result should look like. The cost depends on how many aligners you need, which is based on how crowded or misaligned your teeth are at the start. Once you’re happy to proceed, your first aligners are usually ready in about a week.

Most patients visit about once a month, and many also use virtual care, where you upload weekly photos using a small retractor so Dr. Elias can monitor progress between visits.

Are Clear Aligners Right for You?

Clear aligners can help with many common orthodontic concerns for adults and teens. It may be suitable if you’d like to improve:

  • Crowded or crooked teeth
  • Spaces or gaps between teeth
  • Mild to moderate overbites, underbites or crossbites
  • Relapse after past orthodontic treatment

Aligners should be worn about 22 hours a day and taken out only to eat and brush. They usually feel a bit odd for a few days, then most people hardly notice them. If changes are needed mid‑treatment, Dr. Elias simply rescans your teeth and orders updated aligners so your plan stays on track.

Early Treatment With Invisalign First

For children roughly 6-10 years old, Dr. Elias offers Invisalign First, which is designed to guide jaw growth and create space early. It can help with crowding of baby teeth, overbites, crossbites and some skeletal issues while kids are still growing. Treatment is planned in two phases: Phase 1 must be completed before age 10, and Phase 2 can be done any time within 10 years if needed. Starting early can improve results and may help avoid extractions later.

Please note: Medicare’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule can’t be used for Invisalign First, as it doesn’t cover cosmetic orthodontic treatment.
